"Hipster were absolutely brilliant! It is easy to run out of superlatives to describe just how happy we were with them. Joe was lovely to deal with from start to the finish and accommodating with our requests.
In terms of the performance …. well what can I say! Just spectacular! All of our guests commented on just how good they thought Hipster were!
What we really liked is that the song choice catered for old and young generation alike and this was appreciated. The quality of the performance was excellent, particularly guitar and vocals!
Everyone just wanted to dance and that was purely down to their enjoyment of each set! And the tempo was upbeat and exciting throughout! With a finish on 7 Nation Army – inspired!
For Sarah and I, Hipster was just the perfect end to a perfect day!

"When looking for a band to play at our wedding, I was originally worried about booking a band and paying a lot of money without hearing them in real life. Clare from Alive Network worked hard to find us the right band, within budget and to reassure any worries we had. She couldn’t do enough for us when looking for bands and her efforts are not to go un-noticed, we cannot recommend Alive enough!
If you are thinking of booking Hipster and you are reading this, all I can say is, if they are available, you’re lucky! Book them!

A real top bunch of guys, really friendly, funny, approachable and we really welcomed having them at our wedding. I got the impression that they give 110% no matter what the gig, venue, occasion. The videos and sound clips on the Alive Network sound good, but believe it or not, Hipster are ten times better in real life. I cannot describe how good they were, there were times when I thought I’d actually booked The Killers. Everyone was up dancing all night and the band made the evening, we have all been talking about them for weeks after the event and I’m desperately trying to find an excuse to use them again. "Just by looking at the sheer number of glowing reviews for this band you can tell you will not be let down and this review is no different. The band are amazingly talented everybody commented on how good they really were. They stayed to have a drink with us after the performance and what a sound group of lads they are. "We were a little apprehensive on the lead up to the wedding as we had never booked a band before and had only viewed and heard Hipster online, but our concerns we completely put to rest once the band arrived as they were a very polite and professional group of musicians.
They were absolutely fantastic all evening and played a tremendous set list that not only me and my wife enjoyed but everyone else who attended, everyone spent the evening dancing and really enjoying themselves and I spent the following day listening to all our family and friends rave about how good the music had been.

"My husband and I got married at a beautiful art deco hotel in Devon and knew that we needed a fantastic band to complement the venue.
Hipster were recommended to us by a friend and all we can say is that they were AMAZING!
They had everyone up and dancing and it was like having the real Kings of Leon there when they played Sex on Fire! I did not stop dancing all night which my feet paid the price for the next morning!
Everyone commented on how brilliant they were and I would throughly recommend them, we were really impressed!
I know my Mum will be in touch for a band for her 60th birthday as she is now officially a Hipster groupie!
We were also really impressed with the Alive Network Agency for all their help and advice before the wedding - they were extremely professional and were always there on the end of the phone if we needed them.
Thanks guys for helping to make our wedding such a memorable day!

"We had a perfect wedding day, and the perfect wedding band. Hipster were quite frankly amazing!
Every single guest has asked where and how we found them, and has said that Hipster were the best wedding band they have ever seen. Numerous of our guests have said they have never been to a wedding where the dancefloor was packed for so much of the night. The youngest and oldest guests alike loved the band, and more importantly, so did we.

"Hipster were fantastic on the night. Every single person we have spoken to since that day has commented on how good they were. It really made our wedding.
They played a great range of music and the dancefloor was never empty. The whole band were approachable and down to earth. One of our friends asked if he could quickly sing "Summer of '69" with the band playing in the back and they agreed to it no problem. It went down a storm and set up the rest of the night.
One comment we got from someone was that it was like being at your favourite bands concert but right in front of them. The band sound so professional I can't believe we were able to hire anyone so good.
There was over 200 people at our wedding and alot of them were asking how to book them again.
We wish the band all the best in the future and we would definetly recommend them to anyone else!

We have just returned from a fantastic honeymoon but still on a high from our beautiful wedding...made all the better by Hipster! "Alive coordinated the booking very well, Clare was extremely good at listening to what we wanted and enthusiastic about Hipster. The band were amazing, turned up on time to find we had overun, then set up quickly and sound checked giving an accurate start time. "Cheers Rich, yeah have to say that Hipster were top drawer. They worked the evening perfectly and made sure that the dance floor was busy pretty much all the time. They got the blend of music pretty much spot on and had everyone from 85 down to 2 years old up throwing some shapes.! The music between sets was also very much in line with our tastes and all in all a great evening."

"The party night was absolutely FANTASTIC... and Hipster played a major party in making it happen. Just to let you know the feedback from staff has been immense, people are saying it's the best M&S Money party they've been too and who was the band?
If you speak to Tom or Joe (from the Band) can you tell them people were amazed how fantastic they were, their first initial song got the crowd on the dance floor and it stayed that way until the end. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else and if we ever organise another do they'll be top of the list!

"This band could be a tribute band for every song they covered, totally amazing.
In fact on the Sunday morning, most of the conversation with guests was not; what a spectacular view the hotel commanded or even the events of the previous day, more so where did you find that band?! Which to my mind was testament to a great job done.

"Half of our wedding party want to book them!!.....which speaks for itself really. They were absolutely outstanding - they rocked and we just tried to keep up! Their performances and professionalism were second to none. They arrived and set up exactly as promised, provided a great DJ service and met all special requests with exacting standards (the end result of one request, we can only hope provided the band with as much amusement as the rest of the guests!) Then came their sets - and the room lit up. They were truly amazing - we wanted a live band and man, did we get one. Even our photographer forgot what he was doing and ended up rocking with us! They are memories that will last forever. Our sincere thanks (which simply does not cut it by the way) to Hipster for the most amazing night of our lives. And to Alive Network for the flawless service we received.

I just want to thank you enormously for being so friendly and efficient and for sending us a brilliant band. Hipster are a great band – they are very friendly and professional and quickly adapted to our party. They managed the change over between them and the Disco perfectly, but above all they played great covers and they are very musical, sing well and look good.
All the age groups loved them and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves which made for a brilliant party. They were great fun and everyone commented on how good they were and everyone danced including me (my legs are killing me today!!).
The thing you most hope for when organising a party is that your guests love it and everything goes smoothly. Many of my friends have said it was the best party they had been to!! To top it all we loved every minute of it too! I would not hesitate to book them again!

I just want to thank you enormously for being so friendly and efficient and for sending us a brilliant band. Hipster are a great band – they are very friendly and professional and quickly adapted to our party. They managed the change over between them and the Disco perfectly, but above all they played great covers and they are very musical, sing well and look good.
All the age groups loved them and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves which made for a brilliant party. They were great fun and everyone commented on how good they were and everyone danced including me (my legs are killing me today!!).
The thing you most hope for when organising a party is that your guests love it and everything goes smoothly. Many of my friends have said it was the best party they had been to!! To top it all we loved every minute of it too! I would not hesitate to book them again!

"After having seen Hipster at 2 friends weddings in the past 2 years<b> we literally fixed the date of our wedding to fit in with Hipsters availability!</b>

If you want a dance floor full of people, they did any song I wanted; I was dancing and turned round and said do you play Oasis and that was it, off they went playing that!! They are lovely bunch and so nice and polite and very proffessional. I had an amazing birthday and I didnt want them to stop!! They made my night and everybody loved them! "I was a little nervous when booking Hipster for our wedding as I had not seen them and only listened to the recordings on Alive Network. However, Clare at Alive Network put me at ease from the beginning and then the band's manager contacted me in the run-up to the wedding to discuss playlists. "We booked Hipster because we were looking for a young and fun band that would create a great atmosphere and send off our big day on a high note, and Hipster truly exceeded all expectations! Their cover versions were impeccable (especially the cover of Sex On Fire which most of our guests said was better than the real thing!) and their level of professionalism was second to none. We were a little nervous as we have never booked live entertainment for anything before but we needn't have worried as Hipster completely took care of themselves with the help of our venue and carried out their part in our day perfectly.

We have just got back from from hacking through the jungles of Borneo and have not stopped singing the songs that had everyone up pogoing at our wedding.
Everyone has been asking after the band including a mate who runs expat clubs in the far east if the guys are interested! I'm sure you will have some calls soon...
The band were absolute gentlemen and keyed into the crowd fantastically well; We will never forget the whole wedding party jumping up & down to Franz Ferdinand etc...Even my Mother-in-law & father-in-law!!
I even got on my knees for Raena while being circled by everyone singing 'I love you baby...etc!' Very unlike me...

All before Cabaret took the Museum by storm!!

"The band - well they were nothing short of FANTASTIC!! I don't know if i told you, but we saw them a few years ago at a friend's wedding and said to each other then if we do get married we are having Hipster... sure enough we did and we booked them with you. As always things were running over time on the day but they soon got set up and they were off.... belting out all the classics and being very tolerant to my wanna-be-a-singer-in-a-band husband and his mates!! They literally rocked the place and all our friends and family have been saying what a great band they were; where can they book them etc. - so suffice to say they rocked!!

"Lisa and I wanted to write to let you know how much everyone enjoyed the performance by Hipster at our wedding at Dalhousie Castle on Sunday 30 July. The guys were extremely presentable, polite and personable and did a fantastic job of having everyone shake themselves around the dance floor. Their song list was just the right mixture to get the crowd moving and keep them there from beginning to end, and their ability to render such a range of music so flawlessly was just what we had been looking for.

"Sorry in the delay of my reply but first of all we went on honeymoon and then when we got back because my computer was so old and people had sent lots of pictures by email it decided once and for all to die!
Firstly i would like to say a huge thank you for all your help and support. We had lots of problems in planning our wedding but i must say that alive network never caused us a problem; you were always very efficient, prompt and put our minds at rest. The service was fantastic and extremely professional.
Hipster, well what can i say? They were fantastic. Hipster was absolutely perfect and the number of comments on how brilliant they were has been endless. It is so important for any occasion to get the entertainment right and when we chose Hipster we certainly did that. Our wedding day was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing and Hipster kept that going all night. The music selection was perfect and not only did they organise the first dance but they also made us feel special by calling Gary and i up for another dance "I Love You baby", this got everyone on the dance floor and people didn't want to leave! The lads were polite and professional and never caused a problem except everyone keeps hassling us to find out when they are playing in Stafford so we can arrange a night out!

"Once again Hipster stole the show and, thankfully, all the painful arrangements for hire of the PA and backline in Portugal went smoothly in the end! The only fly in the ointment was that the band came on after our fireworks display, so the rest of the hotel guests had two things to complain about, and the hotel made us stop them from playing on after 11.00 pm, as we were outside in the gardens!
Many thanks to you, Dave, for all your advice and assistance re the technical side at the 11th hour - I've told the boys that unless they bring their own lorry next time, I'll only be using them in the UK!!

"We have just returned from our honeymoon, and still everyone is talking about our wedding and especially Hipster. Well what can we say. WOW! Hipster were fantastic. They had everyone up dancing from the start, and our guests didn't want them to finish and were crying out for more. Both bands were perfect. All that Jazz created just the mellow mood we wanted at the champagne reception, and we are so glad we chose the 4-piece band in the end. Thanks for all your help when we were trying to source the jazz band.
Hipster was absolutely fantastic. We had a pretty good idea of their style from listening to the play list, but we could never have imagined that they would be so great on the night. Every song sounded like the original, and they really engaged with our guests. We were really determined to dance all night at our wedding, and we wanted to avoid the stereotypical "wedding band" playing predictable music. Hipster certainly helped us to achieve our objective! The dance-floor was rocking, and our guests had a brilliant time. Everyone was raving about Hipster, and asking how we found them/where they were from...they were just superb. The most brilliant thing was our send-off at midnight. It was amazing and totally spontaneous. We got back from honeymoon at the weekend, and wanted to thank you and Hipster for their part in our wedding day on 19th March.
They were totally brilliant! It was a truly great day, and was finished off in real style with Hipster who were complete professionals and seemed like really nice guys as well! As we'd arranged before hand with them, they accommodated the relatively restricted space requirements of the venue with no problems at all. They took us running over an hour late completely in their stride, and set up with minimum fuss and hassle.
We were sorry we ran late with dinner as it meant we had to leave just before the very end of their set, and we didn't want to miss any of it! It went too fast! But the rest of our friends and family apparently begged Hispter to play an encore (which they did!). They played a really great selection of songs, all performed superbly - everyone was up and dancing from the first song onwards, and it made for a really great and lively party! I hoped I'd end my wedding night hot and sweaty with my clothes hanging off, and it was the band that started the process (dancing related!)! Cheers lads!
My concerns about booking them on the strength of the demo tracks were all completely mis-placed as they were even better live. Lots of people have commented on how good they were, and I'd definitely recommend them, especially to people who want to remember their party as being one of the best they've ever been to - which we will!

There were a few hiccups regarding the equipment that I had arranged for them but they remained calm (calmer then I was!!) and didn't moan once about having to hang around for most of the day waiting for certain things to be delivered.
I have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone who was at the dinner. Once again Hipster had the people of Pearson up and on the dance floor the second they started to play.
